The fourth industrial revolution has brought innovative changes in industries and nations through intellectualization revolution based on hyper-connectivity caused by new technology, including artificial intelligence and big data. As new technology and new industries are at the center of such fourth industrial revolution, there is a need to be able to respond to legal issues and disputes that have never been experienced before. Accordingly, Barun Law LLC established the Fourth Industrial Revolution Research Society in order to study the legal issues that may arise due to new technology, including artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, big data, blockchain and cryptocurrency. The society conducts in-depth research on the relevant legal issues by holding internal seminars and publishing such findings. In some cases, such findings even lead to legal services for clients. Recently, Barun Law has conducted research on behalf of a client by preparing a report concerning the fourth industry, including artificial intelligence, big data, and blockchains.
